How do I use Quill inside Microsoft Word?

Install Gixo Quill for Word from Microsoft Marketplace, open it in Word, and sign in with Gixo. Supply a topic or selected Word text, review the draft and its sources, then choose where to insert the editable result.

Follow the listing's installation instructions for a supported version of Word, then open the installed Quill add-in.
Choose Sign in with Gixo in the task pane and connect the account with your Quill trial or subscription.
Enter the topic in What should Quill write?, choose a format, and add the audience and editing instructions.

Installation is free. Generation and insertion require the appropriate active Quill access; an Azure SaaS purchase and an Office add-in installation are different actions. Your organisation may restrict add-in installation.

In Quill, choose Use selected Word text. Add an instruction to remove repetition, keep the source links and separate checks from promises.
Choose Generate researched draft. Review the text, exact web links and relevance/reachability notes; select the references you want to append.
Choose At end of document to preserve the original, or Replace current selection when ready. Then choose Insert editable draft.

The add-in creates a draft from the supplied material; it is not a claim of tracked changes to the original document. Link reachability and relevance checks do not verify every statement. Review the inserted content in Word before sharing it.

A native Quill integration for Google Docs is planned. There is no public Google Docs installation link on this page. File export from Quill is a separate workflow and does not establish a native Docs add-on.

Move assistant-created drafts into your publishing workflow. Signed-in MCP tools let an assistant create Quill drafts, read saved work, run editorial checks, and send a completed draft to an already-connected WordPress or Ghost site.

Ask the assistant to create the article, read the saved draft and run its checks. Review the content and source support before requesting draft delivery. Plan access and an existing site connection are required; an approval-required workspace also needs an approved release for this draft handoff.

The MCP tools do not publish live, schedule posts, connect a site or overwrite an existing post. App publishing below is a separate destination workflow.

Is Gixo Quill for Word available now?

Yes. Gixo Quill for Word is listed on Microsoft Marketplace. Install it for a supported Word version, open the task pane and sign in with Gixo. Installation is free; generation and insertion require the appropriate active Quill trial or subscription.

Does Quill replace my Word text automatically?

No. Use selected Word text adds it as source material. Quill generates a draft for review. You choose whether Insert editable draft replaces the current selection or adds the result at the end of the document.

Does a source check prove that the draft is correct?

No. Quill shows exact source links and relevance/reachability notes, but these checks do not verify every statement. Review the text and source support, choose the references to append, and check the inserted document before sharing it.

Can I install a native Quill Google Docs integration?

A native Google Docs integration through Google Workspace Marketplace is planned. This page does not offer a public installation link. Quill file export is separate from a native Docs add-on.
