Slidesgo Alternative
Slidesgo is a template library for Google Slides and PowerPoint. Gixo Lumen generates a structured deck from your own material. These are different jobs, and for a lot of people Slidesgo is simply the right answer — this page is about telling those cases apart honestly.

Where Slidesgo wins outright
We would rather you used the right tool than the one we sell. If any of these describe you, stop here and go and use Slidesgo.
- You want a themed look for a talk you have already written. The words exist; you need them to look good. That is exactly what a template library is for.
- You are working in Google Slides and want to stay there. Slidesgo's themes are built for it.
- You are a student or teacher. The education-themed sets are extensive and often free.
- You need decorative variety. Seasonal, illustrated, subject-specific — thousands of looks that a deck generator does not attempt.
- Budget is the binding constraint. Slidesgo has a free tier; Lumen starts with a 14-day trial and is a paid product after that.
The problem a template does not solve
A template hands you a beautifully styled empty deck. You still have to decide what goes on slide 4, whether slide 9 earns its place, and how the argument closes. For a lot of business decks that blank-page problem is the whole problem — and it is where template hunts quietly stall.
The tell is familiar: two hours browsing themes, a downloaded file, and still no deck.
What Lumen does instead
- Starts from your material. A brief, notes, or an uploaded document becomes a sequenced deck.
- Writes titles as statements. "Margin fell on discounting", not "Margin".
- Applies styling across the whole deck — 37 presentation themes, switchable after the fact, rather than a look chosen per slide.
- Exports editable PowerPoint with real text and native tables.
