Content audit tool

A content audit ranks the pages you already have instead of adding more. Paste a CSV export of your page inventory and this tool scores every row for refresh priority from three signals — how long since it was updated, how far traffic has fallen, and how much it still converts — then returns the inventory sorted, highest priority first, with the reason printed beside each URL.

  • url — the page address, printed back as the row label
  • last_updated — any parseable date; age is worth 2.5 points a month
  • traffic_before — traffic in the earlier period
  • traffic_now — traffic now; the proportional decline is worth up to 60 points
  • conversions — current conversions, worth up to 20 points, so a page that still earns is not quietly retired

Up to 500 rows are scored, the top 25 come back as findings, and anything at 60 or above is flagged high priority. A missing or unreadable value counts as zero rather than failing the row, so a partial export still ranks.

What does a content audit tool do?

It takes the pages you already publish and puts them in order of what to do next, instead of describing them one at a time. This one scores each page for refresh priority from age, traffic decline and conversions, so the shortlist is led by what is decaying fastest and still worth money.

What columns does the CSV need?

Five, in this order: url, last_updated, traffic_before, traffic_now, conversions. The header row is skipped, up to 500 page rows are scored, and a missing or unparseable value is read as zero rather than rejected.

Do I need an account to use Content Audit Prioritiser?

No. The public tool runs without an account.

Does this tool call an AI model?

No. It applies deterministic parsing and validation rules.

Is my input stored?

No. The public tool does not save the submitted input.

What does the paid product add?

Quill writes the replacement article and keeps each revision in the workspace, so the refresh priority can become reviewed copy rather than another spreadsheet row.
